Cincinnati Film Competition Winner
slated for Cannes

Held In Sway, winner of the 2007 Cincinnati 48 Hour Film Project has been selected to screen at The 2008 Cannes Film Festival. The Festival de Cannes is regarded as one the most prestigious, influential and exciting motion picture events in the world. This year’s festival will take place May 14th – 25th in the beautiful and very expensive French Riviera.

Mirepoix Pictures is hosting screening events in support of their trek to the Cannes Film Festival:

Sunday, April 27th from 7 to 11pm at the Trolley Stop 530 E. 5th Street in the Oregon District of Dayton Ohio

Sunday May 4th from 7:00p - 11:00p at Jasper's Restaurant & Nightclub in Mt. Lookout Square. Jasper's is the old Cinema Grill, located at 3187 Linwood Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45208

Event tickets will be available at the door and cost $20. Appetizers, drinks, live music and screenings of Held in Sway are included in ticket price
